NOVAWORLD PHAN THIET – Phan Thiet's biggest potential to attract tourists in Vietnam
The developed transportation system and the invested resorts and high-class hotels predict that Phan Thiet will soon become a new tourist center of Vietnam.
Mui Ne - Phan Thiet is becoming the most attractive destination in Vietnam with unspoiled natural landscapes, clear blue beaches that can be exploited for tourism all year round. The face of tourism of the city has also changed day by day since the Government approved the plan to make Mui Ne - Phan Thiet become the leading destination in Asia - Pacific. The upgraded highway system, airport, and investment wave of large resort groups predict that this will be the most attractive destination in Vietnam in the near future.
One of the top priorities for tourism development in Phan Thiet is to focus on investing in perfecting tourism infrastructure and technical systems, meeting the criteria of the national tourist area; Attracting strategic investors of great caliber to develop Mui Ne into an attractive destination.
Supporting Phan Thiet to achieve the above goal, the Prime Minister agreed to adjust the size of Phan Thiet airport from more than 5,000 billion to more than 10,000 billion. It is expected that after coming into operation, this will be one of the three largest airports in the Central region, after Cam Ranh and Da Nang airports.
Accordingly, Phan Thiet airport was upgraded from 4C to 4E, extending the runway from 2,400 m to 3,050 m; Designed capacity of 2,000,000 passengers/year With the new adjustment, Phan Thiet airport will be able to receive new generation aircraft A350-900, A321, B737,...and other large aircraft of the group. E, contributing to consolidating and improving transport infrastructure planning for tourism development in Binh Thuan.
In addition, two highway projects Nha Trang - Phan Thiet and Phan Thiet - Dau Giay are part of the North-South expressway project passing through Binh Thuan province. This year, Binh Thuan will rush to compensate to hand over the entire site to the investor, expected to start the project in the fourth quarter of 2020.
In parallel, there are entertainment complexes and high-class resorts under construction along Huynh Thuc Khang, Vo Nguyen Giap, and Nguyen Dinh Chieu streets.
